CVs are mainly used for academia, whether applying for undergraduate and graduate schools, higher education internships/fellowships/grants/etc., and others. It focuses on academic accomplishments as well as positions held in academia, and any relevant positions that can help expand what others can know about your skills and experiences.
This is the current expanded CV that I update throughout the year as changes occurs. I also adjust it depending on what I use it for (i.e., academic position, jobs, graduate school, grants) and remove what is not needed.
Below is a short CV version that I’ve used. This is very similar to a resume, and it really is. Check out the other resume examples that I’ve successfully landed a job in as well.
